When I first came across these instruments I was at the NAMM convention in Anaheim, California. They are design by Pepe Romero Jr and Grammy Award winner ukulele player Daniel Ho.

Pepe Romero Jr. is the son of the legendary Classical Guitarist Pepe Romero and the Romero Family. Pepe Romero Jr. takes his production ukulele to higher levels than any production ukulele I have ever played.

Many ukuleles may look good however, most do not have the intonation and sound quality, that more experienced players require.
